Calisto Depot

Cloud storage for your whole business.

A file store that works with all of your operational data inside Calisto Pro. Nothing to upload: the work you already do puts the files here. Every app reads and writes the same store.

Files holds the browsing views

The hub browser, the media pool, the document pool and message attachments.

Smart Views assemble themselves

By Person, Shared and Meetings, which nobody builds or maintains.

A lens never moves a file

Switching one does not copy it or take it out of anywhere else.

Every app reads the same lens

Sites, Apps and Display pick images out of Media. Inbox, Mail and Live deposit into Messages. Purview decides what each lens may surface.

The file browser, and where you land. Named hubs replace folders, with an Unfiled bucket for anything not yet tagged.

Not an import, a sync or a connector

None of the seven above is something you configure.

The same platform writing to the same store

So nothing sits between the thing happening and the file being where you would look.

The Depot angle

Every storage product in this category starts empty and stays empty until somebody fills it, because uploading is the only way in. Here the store sits underneath the work, so filing is a consequence of running the business rather than a job somebody has to keep up with.

How Files Group Themselves

Tag a file once. The views build themselves.

Underneath the lenses is a relation layer, not a folder tree. Each file carries the set of things it belongs to, and every lens reads that set a different way.

There Is No Folder

A file is tagged to the things it belongs to rather than filed in one place. Named hubs take the place folders held, and anything untagged sits in Unfiled.

One File, Many Relations

The same file can belong to a person, a hub, a deal and a meeting at once, and it is stored once. Tagging it somewhere new adds a relation, not a copy.

A Hub Earns Its Place

What points at a hub counts for different amounts: a deliverable weighs heavily, a single chat message almost nothing. Cross the threshold and the hub appears on its own.

Or You Overrule It

Force a hub to show, suppress it, or give it its own threshold. The automatic behaviour is a default, never a decision you cannot reverse.

Untag One Lens, Keep the File

Removing a file from a person or a hub removes that one relation. It stays wherever else it belongs.

Access granted on a hub reaches the files inside it, and a file never opens wider than its hub allows.

Version History

Go back to any version you had.

Every version kept and reachable. Docs, Sheets and Sign write into the same record, so the history is the document's rather than one editor's.

Restore as New Version

A restored version becomes the current one, and everything behind it stays in history. Restore is additive, never destructive.

Version List

Number, date, size and uploader on every version, with the current one marked.

Per-Version Download

Download one version on its own, without restoring it first.

Automatic History

It appears as soon as a file has a second version. Nothing to enable.

File Management

Everything you do to a file, on the file.

Upload, preview, search, share, move, version and recover, without leaving the row.

Upload, preview and search

The three you do before anything else.

Share, move and version

Without leaving the row the file is on.

Recover what was deleted

Removal is not the end of the file.

The file knows what it belongs to

It is filed against the contact Registry holds and the deal in Deals, so renaming a client never orphans their documents.

One file or forty

The row menu and the bulk bar carry the same actions.

No action is single-file only

And nothing needs a different screen to do it in bulk.

Connected

A file store can be built. This one is already underneath the work.

Every app in the platform writes to the same store.

Forms & Templates

Two Depot-native libraries. Forms to fill. Templates to start.

Fillable PDF forms and reusable document templates, in three libraries: yours, the Calisto starter set, and the ones your owner has approved.

Upload a PDF and it lands as a personal form, ready to complete

A form is a record in the store, not an attachment somewhere

Completing one never produces a second copy

Your own forms, editable and yours

The Calisto starter library, browse-only and costing no storage until you copy one

Owner-approved forms, where Purview records the approval once and Sign reads the same set

Send a completed form into Sign for signature

The signed result files itself back into the same store

Starter forms copy into your library first, then become sendable

Business Letter, Service Agreement, Project Proposal and Status Report in the starter set

A template opens in Calisto Docs already loaded, and what it produces is a new file here

Copy any starter into your own library to edit and reuse

Storage Lens

Account-wide quota. Six buckets. See where your storage goes.

One number for the whole account, broken down by what produced it.

Storage · Where it goes
Storage used42.8 GB of 100 GB
Files12.4 GB
Media18.4 GB
Documents6.1 GB
Messages3.6 GB
Forms1.5 GB
Templates0.8 GB

Six pools, one total

Files, Media, Documents, Messages, Forms and Templates each report against one account-wide figure.

A long month says why

A month heavy on Live recordings or Nexus media reads as exactly that, rather than as a total that moved for no stated reason.

Or point it at your own backend

Bring storage you already control and the lenses, relations and permissions carry over unchanged.

One App. One Price.

Everything included in Calisto Depot.

Files
  • Hubs & Files browser with named hubs. Media library. Document pool. Message attachments from Inbox, Mail, and Live.
Smart Views
  • By Person (files grouped by contact), Shared (co-owned files), and Meetings (recording, transcript, summary and action items under the call). Assembled, not filed.
Hubs & Relations
  • Named hubs in place of folders, with an Unfiled bucket. One file tagged to many things and stored once. Hubs appear on their own once enough points at them, or are forced or suppressed by hand. Untag one lens and the file survives everywhere else.
Forms & Templates
  • Depot-native forms are locked, fillable PDFs. Upload a PDF and it lands as a personal form, ready to complete.
  • Three tiers: your own forms, the Calisto starter library, and owner-approved forms.
  • Starter forms are browse-only and cost you no storage until you copy one.
  • Locked and approved badges show provenance at a glance.
  • Send a completed form into Sign for signature. Starter forms copy into your library first, then become sendable.
  • Deep-link into the supplier connector for transaction forms, so partners can complete the paperwork you need.
  • Editable Docs templates with a starter library.
File Management
  • Drag-and-drop upload with multi-file selection and per-file progress.
  • In-app preview for images, PDFs, documents and media, without downloading.
  • Per-file workspace to edit name, tags, description and category. File content is edited in Docs and Sheets, never inside Depot.
  • Search names as you type, then narrow by owner, date, shared, starred, file type, or the app it came from.
  • Share dialog with link generation, permission control per share, and a recipient list with access level.
  • Move between hubs with a hub tree, including bulk move for a selection.
  • Multi-select with a bulk action bar: move, delete, download and share.
  • Sort by name, date, size or type. Filter by category, hub or date range.
  • Soft-delete with a trash view, restore, and permanent delete. Files stay recoverable until trash is emptied.
  • Star a file and it stays reachable from every view, not just the one you starred it in.
  • Make a byte-distinct copy with its own storage footprint. Editing or deleting the copy never touches the original.
  • Open a spreadsheet straight into Calisto Sheets in a new tab, pre-loaded and ready to edit.
  • Print through a connected Ezeep Blue or PaperCut account: pick a printer, set copies, colour, duplex and paper size.
  • Token-based public sharing links, each carrying its own access scope, shareable without a recipient login.
Version History
  • Full version list with restore as a new version and per-version download. Appears on its own once a file has a second version.
Sharing
  • Share dialog with link generation and permissions. Token-based public sharing links. Recipient access control.
Storage
  • Account-wide quota bar showing used versus total, your current tier and any add-on bytes, with warnings as you approach the limit.
  • Six mutually exclusive buckets that add up to your total: Files, Media, Documents, Messages, Forms and Templates.
  • All six buckets always render, even at zero.
  • Included, Pro and Max plans with the current tier badged, plus 1 TB add-on packs.
  • Standard-tier files only. Adult (Class-A) storage is metered separately and never inflates this breakdown.
Settings
  • Default quota and max upload size, retention and auto-trash windows, default share access, public links on or off with an expiry, naming convention, and share and quota-threshold alerts.
Honest answers

Questions about Calisto Depot

A way of reading the same file store without copying anything. One contract reads as a document, as that client file and as an artefact of the meeting it came out of, because a lens is a query rather than a folder.

No. Holding the bytes and deciding how you find them are two separate layers here, so you can point the store at storage you already control and the ten lenses apply on top of it unchanged.

Yes, and it is still one file. That is the whole reason for lenses: the alternative is three copies that diverge the moment one is updated.

Yes, with folder structure preserved. The lenses apply on top, so what you get is your existing hierarchy plus nine other ways of reaching the same files.

The pricing section on this page reads the live catalogue and is the authority. Depot works without the rest of Calisto Work.

Bulk export in original formats with structure intact.
