The Connections

Nine apps. One record.

Purview defines what the business is and what it sells. The other eight read that definition rather than keeping their own copy of it, which is why a policy set once is enforced everywhere it applies.

Questions about Calisto Core

Eight of the nine apps come with your account at no additional cost. Automations is the exception: it is priced per user on its own, and it is included once you have a qualifying Calisto Ops or Calisto Commerce subscription. There is no setup fee and no separate Core plan to buy.

No. Purview is the one every business configures, because it is where you say what your business is and what it sells. The other eight activate around what you actually do: a restaurant runs Bookings and Inventory, a brokerage runs Listings, a gym runs Registry. The ones you do not use stay out of your way.

Browse every app

Purview is where a business unit is configured: its concept type, its catalog, its policies, its currency. Blueprint is head office writing a standard once and pushing it down to every location, locked where it must not change. One is the configuration; the other is the control over who may change it.

Yes. An account holds unlimited business units, each independently configured. A resort with a hotel, a spa and a restaurant is three business units on one account, each with its own concept type, terminology and currency, and Blueprint governs what they share.

Core runs on its own. It is the layer the rest of Calisto Pro reads from, so adding Commerce, Ops or any other product later means those apps already know your locations, your catalog and your policies. Nothing is rebuilt or re-entered.

Nothing moves. Every app reads and writes the same records rather than keeping its own copy, so turning one on gives it the history that is already there, and turning one off leaves that history intact for the apps still using it.
