Questions about switching

Do my ZKTeco doors and readers come over?

Calisto builds no connector to on-premises controllers; it reaches locks through their manufacturer's cloud (TTLock, Nuki, igloohome, Salto KS, Tuya, SmartThings) or MQTT. A business that keeps ZKTeco on its doors records each key in Access by hand, and doors on connected locks are run by Access directly.

How do my people and their access levels come over?

People come from the business's shared contacts. Access levels become profiles or Zone Access grants on Schedules, and areas become zones inside each Location. Biometric templates do not come over, because Access issues cards, badges, PINs, mobile keys and wallet passes.

What happens to visitors?

Visitor reservations become Invites with a pre-registration link and QR, walk-ins are recorded at reception and checked against the Watchlist, and the host is told on arrival.

How do alarms and lockdowns work?

Live shows alarms with Acknowledge and Escalate on the push. Alerts arms a lockdown, evacuation or shelter-in-place from the desk or a phone, and Roll Call lets marshals mark people safe with no signal.
