Questions about switching
Do my flows come over?
There is no import of Power Automate flows. Many of them are already rules the Calisto apps ship, such as confirmations, reminders and staff notices, which you switch on or edit in Automations. For the rest, start from a template, or describe the automation in a sentence and review the draft.
How do approvals work in Calisto?
Requests are raised and decided in Calisto's one approval engine, where the work is, such as a post, an expense or a bill. An automation can start when a request is made, wait for its decision and take a different path for approved, declined or changes asked.
Does Calisto automate desktop apps?
No. Calisto Automations works across the Calisto apps and reaches outside them through Custom HTTP, a webhook address per automation, Zapier and Make. Calisto installs nothing on your computers.
Can I manage automations from a phone?
Yes. On a phone you switch automations on and off, turn a template into a live automation, follow every run and answer a failed one with Retry, Skip or Turn Off. Building and editing the flow happens on the desk.
