Questions about switching

Do my AEOS doors come over?

Calisto builds no connector to on-premises controllers; it reaches locks through their manufacturer's cloud (TTLock, Nuki, igloohome, Salto KS, Tuya, SmartThings) or MQTT. A site that keeps AEOS on its doors records each badge in Access by hand, and doors moved to connected locks are run by Access directly.

How do people and their authorisations come over?

People come from the business's shared contacts. Your AEOS templates become profiles, your areas become zones inside Locations, and your time schedules become Schedules and Holidays.

What happens to visitors and contractors?

They are Visitors in Access: a walk-in is checked against the Watchlist at the door, an expected visitor gets an invite with a pre-registration link and QR, and anyone past their visit shows as Overstayed.

How do alarms and evacuations work?

Live shows alarms as they happen and Automations decides who is told. Alerts arms a lockdown, evacuation or shelter-in-place, and Roll Call starts from the people On Site Now.
