What moves

Bringing your data from Cloud4Wi

Your data is read in your own browser and sent to your Calisto account. Calisto never sees your login for the old system.

From an export file

Questions about switching

Does my existing hardware work?

Yes, in most cases. Meraki, Cisco Catalyst, UniFi, Omada, Aruba, RUCKUS, Juniper Mist, ExtremeCloud IQ and the other connected systems work with Calisto WiFi, and a router with no connector still runs Open or Shared Password with its own setup steps.

How do residents and staying guests get their own password?

At check-in a stay gets its own code and password, put on the network through the connector's DPSK, iPSK, MPSK or PPSK API, or handed to the gear by Calisto RADIUS. Both end at checkout.

What happens to my guest list?

Bring the contacts you hold into the business's shared contacts in Deals (Settings, Import & Data, Import Contacts). A guest who later signs in with the same email lands on that contact rather than a new one.

How is guest data kept private?

Marketing consent is a separate tick, off by default. The business sets how long the guest log is kept and whether it is then anonymised or deleted, and access and erasure requests are handled in Sovereign.
