Questions about switching

What happens to my signup forms?

A signup form is a Forms form, such as the Newsletter Signup template, placed on the business's own site. Each person who signs up lands in the one contact record, and Campaigns asks for consent rather than assuming it.

Does Campaigns confirm new subscribers?

When double opt-in is on, every email opt-in waits for the person to click a confirmation link, and nothing marketing is sent until they do. It is on by default in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.

Can I write to ticket holders who never subscribed?

Yes, about the event they hold a ticket for. A message to ticket holders needs no marketing opt-in, carries a footer naming the event and its own unsubscribe link, and is resolved when it is sent, so a refunded ticket is never written to (with Tickets).

Can I bring my subscribers with me?

Yes. Import a file of subscribers; consent is asked for on import and never assumed, and another tool's blocklist imports into the suppression list.
