Bringing your data from CapCut
Your data is read in your own browser and sent to your Calisto account. Calisto never sees your login for the old system.
From an export file
Export your data from CapCut and drop the file in. It is read in your browser and mapped onto Calisto.
Any spreadsheet you export from CapCut can be mapped onto Calisto, column by column.

Questions about switching
Do my CapCut projects come over?
No. Clips has no import of another editor's projects. Export your finished videos from CapCut and drop them on Home; each video dropped on Home becomes a Clip with it placed, ready to cut again.
Do CapCut templates come over?
No. Clips has its own Templates on Home: Reel, Short or TikTok, Intro Title, End Card, Name and Role and Chapter Cards, and each card makes a Clip in that template.
Can I still cut to the beat of a trending sound?
Yes. Find a Trending Sound opens the TikTok Creative Center, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts sound pages. You edit against the sound as a guide kept only on your device, and when you publish, the dialog says which sound to add on the network and where to start it.
Where do my finished videos go?
Exports land on your account's Depot storage, and Publish sends a video to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts from inside Clips over your own connected accounts.
