What moves

Bringing your data from Adobe Lightroom

Your data is read in your own browser and sent to your Calisto account. Calisto never sees your login for the old system.

From an export file

Export your data from Adobe Lightroom and drop the file in. It is read in your browser and mapped onto Calisto.

Any spreadsheet you export from Adobe Lightroom can be mapped onto Calisto, column by column.

Questions about switching

Do my Lightroom edits and catalog come over?

No. Foto has no import for another editor's edits, catalog or albums. Upload your originals to the Library, group them in Hubs, and Star and Tag them; Auto or Bulk Auto gives a set a first edit in one tap.

Do my RAW files open?

Yes. A camera RAW opens in Adjust and is developed on your device, or converted on the server when it is too large for the device. A coding no decoder reads yet opens from the camera's own preview, and Foto says why.

Can I bring my presets?

Not as files. Set a photo the way a preset did and press Save Look, and the look is yours in Looks, ready for any selection or for Bulk Auto.

Where are my photos kept?

In Depot, as the account's own files. The original is never changed: an edit is kept beside it with its history, and every export is a new file next to its photo.
