Five modes. 30 client components. Single-purpose rendering.
Each physical device is assigned one mode, a locked single-purpose interface. Five modes: Check-In (7 types), Self-Order (6 types), Concierge (7 features), Showroom (2 views), Registration (2 flows). Mode assignment determines which UI the device renders, which platform data it reads, and which records it writes.
Check-In

7 check-in types. One intake pipeline.
Reservation lookup by name, phone, or confirmation code. Identity verification. Signature capture. Digital key or card encoding trigger via Access. Check-in completion writes to Navigator, Ops, and Contacts. Average check-in session: under 45 seconds. Every unprocessed arrival is a queue that costs front-desk labor.
QR provisioning. 30-second heartbeat. Two-minute offline detection.
Zero-touch activation · Heartbeat telemetry · Health scoring · Five device statuses · Guided access lockdown · OTA config push · Remote restart · Remote deactivation
QR provisioning. 30-second heartbeat. Two-minute offline detection.
A device-centric management layer. Every kiosk registers with a unique key, health score, platform fingerprint, and assigned mode. Three-step zero-touch activation. Heartbeat telemetry every 30 seconds. Offline detection at 120 seconds. Five device statuses. Remote restart, deactivation, and over-the-air configuration push.
The Provisioning Pipeline
Heartbeat Telemetry
Devices report every 30 seconds: app version, OS version, screen resolution, battery level, and composite health score. Platform recorded per device for compatibility tracking. Offline detection triggers at 120 seconds without heartbeat. Every minute of undetected downtime is lost throughput during peak hours.
Device Registry
All registered devices with name, location, status, mode, platform, last ping, and health score. Five statuses: online, offline, error, pending, locked. Search by name or location. Filter by status, location, or mode. Remote restart and deactivation per device.
Lockdown Mode
Guided access (iOS) or kiosk mode (Android). Home button, notification center, and system settings disabled. Application fills the screen. No OS-level exit possible.
Remote Configuration
Over-the-air branding updates, device restart, mode reassignment, and status monitoring from the device registry. No physical device access required. Configuration changes propagate in under 60 seconds.

Per-device performance metrics
Sessions per device per day
Utilization count by device. Identifies high-traffic and low-traffic positions.
Error rate per device
Failed transactions, timeout resets, and offline events per device per period.
Peak usage hours
Hourly heatmap of activity per kiosk. Staffing and positioning data.
Mode-specific conversion
Started vs. completed interactions per mode. Drop-off point identification. Every abandoned session is a missed transaction.
Average transaction value
Per-device, per-mode ordering revenue. Position and layout comparison data. Identifies which device placements drive higher spend.
Device health score trend
Heartbeat-derived score over time. Hardware degradation detection.
Fragmented kiosk stack vs. unified platform
Platform Interconnects
12 native interconnects. Zero configuration.
Every kiosk mode reads live data and writes back to the product that owns each workflow. Check-in updates Navigator and triggers Access. Orders route through POS with Pulse pricing. Showroom interactions create Deals leads. One relational data layer. Zero middleware.
Calisto Navigator
Check-in kiosks read reservation data and guest profiles. Check-in completion writes arrival status and triggers digital key provisioning via Access.
Reservation Lookup → Identity Match → Check-In → Key TriggerCalisto POS
Self-order kiosks read menu catalog, pricing, and modifier configuration from POS. Orders route to kitchen display. Payment transactions process through the same gateway.
