Do my past guest registrations come over?
No. Identity has no import for another provider's checks or registrations. Keep your old records for the period the law asks; new guests verify from their booking.
Who has to verify on a booking?
The business decides, per property and booking channel: the lead guest, every adult or every guest. Each verifies on their own phone from the guest portal, a QR at the desk or an emailed link, and the check-in waits for them (with Stays).
What happens to a guest's ID data afterward?
It is erased at the end of the stay's retention, the law's period or your own, or earlier on the guest's request from Erase ID Data, including the copy the verification service holds.
Do I need to connect a property system?
Not with Stays. A guest's check belongs to the stay itself, and the result is on the guest's contact record that every Calisto app reads.
