By its export file

Move your data from Guesty

Guesty does not accept requests from a browser on a key you can create, so its data comes across by its own export file. You drop the file, see how the columns map, and each record lands once.

What moves

What comes across

Calisto has no reader for Guesty’s records yet. Its export file still comes across as contacts, clients, properties or bookings: you map the columns yourself.

Export file

Exporting from Guesty

  1. In Guesty, open Analytics → Reports and set up a reservations report with the columns you want (include guest name, email, phone and Currency).
  2. Click the download CSV icon. Guesty emails the file, and a Download button appears at the bottom right.
  3. Drop the file below.

Exporting needs the report permission for your role. Add filters if a very large report does not generate.

Guesty’s own help page

Before your first import you accept the Data Import Terms: you bring your own data with credentials you hold, and Calisto acts as your processor. Calisto never contacts the vendor for you and never sees your key. Read the terms
