Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Calisto uses cookies and similar technologies on the Calisto Pro website at pro.calistoco.com and the Calisto Pro applications (together, the "Site"). It applies to every visitor, user, and subscriber.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They let the Site remember your actions and preferences. Cookies do not access your personal files or collect information stored on your device.
The Site also uses local storage and session storage in your browser. This policy covers them in the same way as cookies.
2. Your Consent
When you first visit the Site, a banner asks for your choice: Accept all or Decline non-essential. Non-essential cookies are placed only if you choose Accept all. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent and are always active, because the Site cannot function without them.
Your choice is stored in your browser. To change it, clear the Site's data in your browser settings and the banner appears again.
3. Cookies We Use
3.1. Strictly Necessary
These cookies and storage items:
- Keep you signed in and maintain your session
- Sign you in once across every Calisto Pro application
- Protect the Site and your account against unauthorized access
- Remember which of your business workspaces you are working in
- Remember settings you choose, such as language, currency, and display theme
- Keep the contents of your shopping cart
- Store your cookie consent choice
3.2. Referral (Non-Essential)
If you arrive through a referral link, the Site stores the referral code for thirty (30) days so the referral is credited if you subscribe. This cookie is placed only if you choose Accept all.
3.3. Performance Measurement
The Site measures how fast its pages load and respond (loading time, responsiveness, and layout stability), together with the page address and your connection type. These measurements are sent directly to Calisto. They are not stored on your device and are not used to identify you.
4. Cookies Across Calisto Pro Applications
Your sign-in cookie is shared across calistoco.com sub-domains so that you sign in once for every Calisto Pro application. Clearing cookies for one Calisto Pro application signs you out of all of them.
5. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
6. Third-Party Services
When you use a third-party service through the Site, such as a payment provider or an identity verification provider, that provider sets its own cookies under its own policy.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
Calisto publishes changes to this policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
